After the Portland Social Media get together was over tonight the band Guy Obrecht Duo took the stage at Someday Lounge and did the weirdest cover of Lead Belly’s Where Did You Sleep Last Night. I loved it! So strange.

“Veckatimest” by Grizzly Bear is out now. Forget that low-quality leaked onto the Internet in early Spring. The album is on Amazon right now for $3.99! Ridiculously cheap, but if you prefer the physical product, then head out and make a record store happy.
Pitchfork’s review valuted onto the band a 9/10 mark; lest to say, the reviewer liked what he heard. We’ll post a review shortly, once I collect my thoughts after the holiday weekend.
