The Green Room is closing and will be closed after January 19th, 2008. Sad. The little “Irish bar that could” commiserated with many that needed a good beer and live music. Many know the bartender on the right in this photo, who worked at The Green Room and is a family friend. Best of luck to all affected!

“Veckatimest” by Grizzly Bear is out now. Forget that low-quality leaked onto the Internet in early Spring. The album is on Amazon right now for $3.99! Ridiculously cheap, but if you prefer the physical product, then head out and make a record store happy.
Pitchfork’s review valuted onto the band a 9/10 mark; lest to say, the reviewer liked what he heard. We’ll post a review shortly, once I collect my thoughts after the holiday weekend.
