We were a the CD release for Oh Darling on Friday, October 3rd at the Doug Fir. Oh Darling’s new release, Nice, Nice, is one of my favorite albums for 2008, from Portland. It’s a mature composition, with a unique sound and has enough energy to propel the band out of Portland and on to bigger and better places.

Portland, OR based Oh Captain, My Captain – also, a poem by Walt Whitman, Where on the deck my Captain lies, Fallen cold and dead – played the Doug Fir on Sept 20 with King Black Acid and Tango Alpha Tango, and – fear not – are set to play Holocene with Mint Chicks on Oct 10th. So don’t miss out this time.
