The Thermals Sign to Kill Rock Stars

Record label (and Portland-transplants), Kill Rock Stars, are reported to have signed The Thermals. The band’s fourth album won’t be released on Sub Pop, as it was revealed in July they might be shopping for a new label.
Pitchfork’s short interview with the band also revealed The Thermals are planning their fourth release, Now We Can See, will be officially released on April 7th, but look for promotional tracks, etc. from KRS beginning after winter of next year.
The Thermals are slated to play the Doug Fir on Dec. 5th and 6th.

I say good work Russell Brand, you should be knighted by the stuffy Queen herself. Your performance at the MTV video music Shill Awards this past weekend, dramatized with your crazy hair and constant need to YELL EVERYTHING you speak, was a breath of fresh air for us Yankees.
